Lacunae

Lacunae contains a growing library of works by Latin authors. You choose the author and the book, it sends you sentences from that book with gaps which you then have to fill. Unlike our other bots, Lacunae does not ask you to give it a word list, so be prepared to use any word that occurs in the book. Needless to say, it helps to read the book first. If you are stuck, the bot can give you a hint.

As of this writing, the following authors and works are available:
Cicero (De Officiis, De Natura Deorum)
Caesar (De Bello Gallico)
Livy (the first 10 books)
Sallust (Catilina and Iugurtha)
Thomas More (Utopia)

We can add books on request, just let us know what you'd like added.
